The newest member of the family ;)

Dad has been looking for a little utility tractor for quite some time now...in fact some time has turned in to years and years of searching, calling, stopping and looking and finally success! On Sunday he left the driveway in his black Chevy truck and retuned from an auction by Lastrup driving this little blue guy, who hasn't been name just yet...some suggestions I had were Found On the Road Dead (just kidding), Babe the little Blue Ox, tuff guy, or short stuff...we'll see if he actually follows through with the naming process. For those who don't remember Sunday was not the best day of the weekend...it was pouring rain, drizzling, misting, pouring rain, drizzling, misting (repeat) all day long! Dad went prepared with his nifty rainsuit, which came in handy on his wet ride home. He called mom to tell her he was driving the new tractor home and she said "isn't it raining? aren't you getting soaked?" and like a kid with his new tractor in the sandbox, who doesn't want to come in out of the rain....dad said "nope" We all laughed and some of us cheered as he rounded the corner into the driveway. I snapped a few pictures as you will see below...then later after supper he and mom took it out for dreary spin...runs like deere...oops I mean Ford...let's just say charm! Congratulations dad on your newest purchase! With a little spit shine and polish you'll have it looking like new in no time!
